Pastoral Staff
Pastor: Pastor Marty Martin grew up in a non-Christian home, but came to faith in
Christ as a teenager through the testimony of a friend's family. Upon graduating from
Clemson University with a BS in Computer Engineering, Marty worked for several years
in that field while serving and being fed in the local church. During that time, it became
increasingly clear that he was being called to pastoral ministry; so, in 1991, he began
studies at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis where he completed a Masters of
Divinity with an emphasis in Theology in 1995. Marty served in a small rural historic
congregation for over four years before being called to Fellowship Presbyterian Church
in February of 2000. Marty and his wife Celanie have four children.
Church Intern: Mr. Steve Walton and his family have been worshipping at Fellowship since they moved to Greenville for seminary in 2008. They have been members of Fellowship since the Spring of 2009. Steve began serving as church intern in May of 2011. (Fellowship employs an active Internship program as a means of helping prepare men to use their gifts in pastoral ministry). Steve, his wife Hilary, and their sons Samuel and Branch come to us from Asheville, North Carolina.
